IMPORTANT RIDER INFORMATION

*We encourage all participants to take a moment to read the following information:

🚴‍♂️ Please Know Your Limits

  • You are welcome to turn around and head back to the Finish Fest at any point during the ride.

  • ⏰ Important Timing Note:
The ride officially ends at 12:00 PM. After this time, all support—including police escorts, volunteers, and water stations—will be removed from the route. Riders continuing past noon will be on their own.

  • ❗ For Beginner Riders:
We do not recommend attempting the 51-mile route if you are new to distance riding. Most beginners will not have enough time to complete the route before noon.
Instead, we suggest the 30-mile route—it still takes you all the way to the iconic "End of the World" in Delacroix for that must-have photo op, and gives you a better chance of finishing safely and on time.

  • 🚨 Safety First:
While the roads remain open to bikes, our top priority is rider safety. Many of these are remote backroads, so please ride responsibly.

Day of Information:

  • HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL RIDERS.

  • Riders are asked to be at Los Islenos by at least 7:00 AM. We encourage all participants to arrive early to allow time for parking, sign-in, and gear preparation. Riders will stagger start with 51 milers going first at 7:30 AM.

  • Day of Registration and Packet Pickup will be from 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM

  • Coffee and donuts will be provided before the ride.

  • Water and fruit will be provided at designated water stations along the route. Riders are encouraged to bring other snacks they may be accustomed to having during a ride. Please also bring your own water bottle.

  • Food and Refreshments will be provided after the ride at the End of the World Finish Fest at Los Islenos.

  • We recommend that riders bring extra inner tubes incase of a flat.

  • You will be given a colored plastic bracelet to distinguish your mile preference. This must be placed looped around your handle bars. This will help our volunteers and officers on the course.

About St. Bernard Parish

Just five miles downriver from New Orleans, St. Bernard Parish offers a rare blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and historical significance. It’s where bayous meet backroads, fishing villages meet family traditions—and where your ride will take you through some of the most authentic landscapes in Louisiana.

While you won’t pass every landmark on your route, you’ll be riding through a parish with deep roots in American history. St. Bernard is home to the site of the Battle of New Orleans, the final major battle of the War of 1812, and has long been a place where stories of resilience, industry, and community are woven into daily life.

What makes St. Bernard special?

  • 🏛 Historical Legacy: From Spanish colonists and Isleño settlers to pivotal battles and modern-day recovery, this parish has seen it all—and stood strong.

  • 🌅 Coastal Louisiana at Its Best: The route winds through scenic marshes, open skies, and peaceful waterways, offering a quiet beauty you won’t find elsewhere.

  • 🎣 Working Fishing Communities: You’ll pass through places like Yscloskey and Delacroix, where seafood, tradition, and culture run deep.

  • 🚲 Destination: End of the World: The 30- and 51-mile routes lead to Delacroix—known as the “End of the World.” It’s a truly unforgettable ride to a place like no other.

  • 🦐 Local Flavor & Hospitality: After the ride, stick around for great food and even better people at the End of the World Finish Fest. Our community knows how to welcome you.

Whether you’re here for the challenge, the scenery, or the sense of adventure, we’re proud to share our home with you—and excited for you to experience the spirit of St. Bernard Parish from the seat of your bike.
