Ribbon cuttings are a valued Chamber benefit! To ensure a successful event and give us time to invite officials and community leaders, ribbon cuttings must be scheduled two weeks in advance. Ribbon cuttings are held Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9AM and 3PM.

Your ribbon cutting will be promoted across several of the Chamber’s communication channels to help maximize visibility and attendance. On Facebook, we’ll create an event and invite you to co-host it, if applicable, which will be shared multiple times leading up to the date. In addition, a personal calendar invite will be sent to local officials from the Chamber.

Because your audience may differ from ours, we strongly encourage you to share the event on your own social media and communication platforms as well.

On the day of your ribbon cutting, a Chamber representative will kick things off with a brief welcome before inviting a representative from your business to speak, so be sure to have a few words ready to share. We will take photos during the event to share on social media. A press release is done on behalf of your business following the event.
