St. Bernard Parish Hospital

This state of the art facility will be approximately 113,000 sq ft in size and will support 40 patient beds (8 Intensive Care, 4 Long Term Care, and 28 General Medical/Surgical), 4 Operating Suites, 2 Endoscopy Suites, plus a 10 Bed Emergency Department. The hospital will also provide complete diagnostic imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, patient education and social work services.

The land agreement has been completed, the construction documents / plans approved and the general contractor selected; we expect the hospital to open its doors to the community in the spring of 2012. Plans are also being developed to construct a 60,000 sq ft Medical Office Building next to the hospital to support several doctors' office, thus making the hospital campus the core provider of your healthcare needs. http://www.stbphsd.org/
